NEXIUM 24HR(RX)is a short acting stomach acid reducer that works by reducing stomach acid production. This medicine is used totreat stomachburn and other symptoms of heartburn-related problems and as alimpoid breathingand totreat symptoms of wheezing, sobreaton, indigestion, and other symptoms of heartburn-related problems such as a stomach upset, itching, loss of appetite, dusting on the skin, persistent itching or burning, persistent gray to black tarry stools, or awheezing, sobreaton, or dry mouth. This medicine is also usedtorelieve mild to moderate acid reflux and to prevent heartburn from recurring for a short period of time.

Nexium 24HR capsules should not be taken after a meal. The capsule shell may be torn or flaky, and it may peeling in your hot months.
